Hi Triston,
Thank you for your comment/question. Wow I struggled a little bit as to how to answer you. I plan to talk about health insurance in a later lesson.

I could easily have said ‘Wait for the lesson’, but decided against it. Since you were vigilant enough to ask. I feel I owe you a complete answer.

We have two strategies to take care of Health Insurance. One of course is to get your own health insurance. For me, as a computer consultant, I purchase my own through Anthem Blue Cross. I am fully covered. I pay $282 every two months.

The second strategy is if you’re already working with a chain to keep your insurance and practice this part-time. Cindy, had been working for Sam’s club/Wal-Mart for several years, after 5 years with the company the chain allows her to keep health insurance for herself and our daughter working only per diem. She only worked about 12 times this year with Sam’s Club. She choose to work that many times to help friends who needed a day off. She wasn’t required to work those times to keep her insurance. Plus she likes to keep an eye on the goings on within the chain.

Many entrepreneurs have their own insurance, and it doesn’t cost as much as most people think. Everyone’s situation is different so each insurance company will have a different quote depending on your situation and needs.

Also you might find yourself in a similar situation as Cindy and be able to keep your health insurance working part time or per diem.

As I said I will be posting an article about this very subject. So let me know what you’d like to see in that post!

Marvin
